The incentive landscape changed at the end of 2025. Here is the plain version; we confirm the specifics for your address before you sign anything, and we file the paperwork.
LADWP Consumer Rebate
City of Los Angeles addresses served by LADWP. Requires equipment on LADWP's qualifying list, an AHRI certificate matching the exact indoor/outdoor pairing, and a closed LADBS mechanical permit. Paid by check after completion — we prepare the packet.
SCE & SoCalGas programs
Most of the San Gabriel Valley is SCE territory. Utility and regional programs change by season; we check current availability for your ZIP at the time of quote rather than promising a number here.
TECH Clean California / HEEHRA
Single-family reservations have been fully reserved statewide since February 2026 and the multifamily window has been closed since December 2025. We are enrolled, and we queue projects so they are first in line when a window reopens.
Federal 25C tax credit
The $2,000 federal credit ended for systems placed in service after December 31, 2025. Any contractor still advertising it for a 2026 install is wrong.
How the packet works
Most rebates pay after completion and only with the right documents: an AHRI certificate for the exact indoor/outdoor pairing, a closed mechanical permit, the itemized invoice, and nameplate photos. We assemble and submit it; you get the check. Where a program is paused, we place the project on the waitlist before installation so it is eligible when funds reopen.
Rebate amounts and availability are set by the utilities and the State of California and change without notice; figures are current as of September 2026 and confirmed in writing for your address before any contract is signed.
